Children are to come wearing different socks to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on Thursday 21st March. On this day, children can give a donation to Puttinu Cares.

St. Patrick’s Day- Friday 15th March
Children are invited to join us in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day by wearing green attire to take a photo in front of our themed backdrop on Friday 15th March. Children can participate in related crafts and activities.
Women’s Day- Friday 8th March
On Friday 8th March we celebrate women’s achievement, a gender equal world! A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Children can come wearing PURPLE.
Lilo and Stitch Day- Tuesday 5th March
Aloha to new friends at school. Children can wear Hawaiian clothes like LILO or blue like the koala creature STITCH. Children on Tuesday 5th March will step into the role of scientists for the day as they engage in making jelly.
Wellies and Umbrella Day- Tuesday 27th February
Children can come wearing their Wellies on Tuesday 27th February and bring their Umbrella to childcare for a fun day!!
Valentine’s Brunch- Monday 19th February
We are beyond excited to announce our first Valentine’s brunch. Children on Monday 19th February will dig into delicious food, children can wear pink or hearts for the day!
Valentine’s Day in Aid of Puttinu Cares- Wednesday 14th February
Magic Steps children are to come wearing red colour clothes on Wednesday 14th February to celebrate LOVE and give a donation to Puttinu Cares to show love towards those in need. Surprise on the day!
Carnival Costume Day- Friday 9th February
Dress-up days are fun ways to celebrate learning at school. Children at Magic Steps are being given the opportunity to dress up any of their favourite costume for the day on Friday 9th February and pose in front of our Carnival Backdrop
Farewell Celebration- Wednesday 31st January
We will celebrate the last day with children who will be going to Kinder 1 in February on Wednesday 31st January.
Open Day- Saturday 27th January
Open Day (familiarization visits) on Saturday 27th January for those children and their parents/families who are going to start attending Magic Steps Childcare Centre in February 2024.
Hot Cocoa Day- Tuesday 23rd January
Children with the help of the carers will prepare a tasty hot chocolate with marshmallows on top to keep us all warm in this wintry month. Children can come wearing brown clothes on Tuesday 23rd January.
Pajama Party- Thursday 18th January
Children can fly from their own bed to Magic Steps in their pajama and give a donation to Puttinu Cares on Thursday 18th January.
